Answer:

The alcohol smell from Softcare Protector evaporates in a ventilated space in about half an hour. Hold the door or windows open while you spray. If the smell lasts longer, increase ventilation. Alcohol is an evaporating solvent which disappears without leaving any smell. The product is also safe to use and contains no PFOS compounds.
