Protector’s suitability for families and homes with pets

I have small children/pets. Is it safe to treat the furniture and carpets with your protectors?

We produce all our products from the best environmentally friendly anti-allergenic ingredients. Treatment should not, however, due to its alcohol smell, be made when children or pets are nearby. When the smell has evaporated, the surface is safe for both children and animals, even if they would lick the surface.
