Softcare and environment

Softcare products base on the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

As a manufacturer we pay attention to the environmental aspects. We select our raw materials, packaging and working methods so that our ecological footsteps would be as little as possible.

All of our packaging is recyclable. Plastic bottles are recyclable HDPE-plastic. They can be burned safely as energy waste. Our metal packings are 100% recyclable aluminium. Paper cartons are unbleached paper, suitable for recycling.

We don’t use propellants in our packing. All our spray bottles are equipped with finger pumps or trigger sprayers. Ther are environmentally friendlier, and they are 2-2.5 times more economical for the end user. In usual aerosol bottle there is 25 % air, half of the rest is propellant and it leaves just about 35-40% of the volume for the product itself. Our bottle contains 100 % of the product. Softcare detergents are all environmentally safe and easily biogredable without phosphates.

In our protectors we use Isopropylic alcohol as a solvent. It is fully biogredable and safe to use. The effective ingredient, fluortelomer is not biogredable. It is chemically inert and doesn’t react with any other material in nature, being not a fertilizer nor food to any microbes or animals. It is also totally non poisonous.

As a manufacturer we want to show the way to clean environment, safe production and as a leading manufacturer in our branch in Finland to show high standards in working methods, quality and safety.
